Equivalent to an 1/8 share, The Farm Share Box allows you to fill your freezer with a variety of high-quality, locally raised beef from Yon Family Farms.
These “Farm Share” Boxes are packed exclusively with our best beef that has met the strictest of quality standards to be labeled as Certified Angus Beef ® Choice or Prime.
Each box contains a variety of grilling favoriate, savory & slow cooker cuts, and ground beef. All beef is sold frozen at time of pick up. You can expect a minimum of
- 10 pounds of Grilling Favorites
- 20 pounds of Savory & Slow Cooker Cuts
- 20 pounds of Ground Beef

HOW IS THE MEAT PACKAGED?
The meat is frozen and vacuum sealed. If you’ve shopped with us before, it’s packed just the same as our retail cuts! Each cut is a sensible portion so you can thaw just what you need! Ground beef is packed in 1.5 lb packs. Steaks come two per pack and each pack ranges from 0.75 – 2.5 pounds depending on the cut. Stew beef, kabobs, fajita strips and cube steak are aproximately 1 pound per pack. Roasts and short ribs range from 2 – 4 pounds each.
HOW MUCH ROOM DO I NEED TO STORE IT?
When you pick up your Farm Share Box, it will actually be packed in 3 cardboard boxes.
- 1 Box of Grilling Favorites (10″ x 10″ x 8″)
- 1 Box of Savory & Slow Cooker Cuts (12″ x 12″ x 8″)
- 1 Box of Ground Beef in 1.5 pound packs (12″ x 12″ x 8″)
WHEN CAN I PICK UP IN STORE?
For in store pick up we are asking for one week to prepare your order, however we are currently turning things around in a day (or less!)
DO I HAVE TO PRE-ORDER?
Our cold storage limts the number we can have ready for walk in customers so if you stop by without a pre-order, we may or may not be able to fulfill your order.
