Sponsor a Pecan Tree

(9 customer reviews)

$25.00$50.00

Hurricane Helene left her mark on our orchards in September 2024, laying down between 5o% and 75% of our historic pecan orchard in Ridge Spring. As others have reached out asking how to help, we are offering the opportunity to sponsor the replanting of our orchards. Sponsorship is available at two levels: a $25 sponsorship includes a card of appreciation, while a $50 sponsorship includes a gift box with a card of appreciation and 2, 8oz bags of our homemade pecan candies.

So happy to be able to sponsor a tree on the farm. We need to support our farmers and this family and farm have been here in South Carolina for over 100 years and we’re so fortunate to have them. Let’s help them get back on their feet.

What a great idea to sponsor a tree! I am sponsoring a tree for each of my children. Wishing you & your family the best as you re-build your farm.

We’ve sent these to friends and family with a note like the following and they’ve been a big hit: The Nut House in Ridge Spring SC is a family business that suffered great damage to their wonderful old pecan trees from Hurricane Helene. This little package helps “sponsor” a tree and gives us the opportunity to say [Happy Thanksgiving or Merry Christmas] to you!

  9. Rebecca Ivester

I had called to order pecans before Christmas, not realizing The Nut House /Yon Family Farm pecan orchard had been severely damaged in Hurricane Helene. In January, remembering The Nut House has a website to order from, I saw the opportunity to sponsor a tree for the damaged orchard! I wish they’d told me when I called! They offer excellent pecans and it would be sad to let such a source disappear. Happy to help out!
